- What is a feed?
- Usually a feed is a blog. All posts (feed items) from a single blog (RSS feed) belong to a feed. Obstracts will automatically pull in new feed items when they are posted for analysis.
- What are custom extractions?
- Obstracts automatically extracts a wide variety of indicators of compromise from feed items. However, in some cases security teams have very custom requirements for intelligence gathering not covered in our extraction logic. In such cases custom extractions allow you to write private logic to be run on imported feed items.
- Do you integrate with product X,Y,Z?
- Many security tools now support the STIX 2.1 data format natively (which is how all Obstracts data is stored). You can export this data to these tools using the Obstracts REST API.
- Can we invite users outside of our company?
- For our standard plans, all users in a group must share the same email domain. You will need to purchase a community license (not shown above) if you want to create groups containing users from different organisations. Please contact us to discuss.
